Power BI Consultant

Power BI:

AI Thinkers, a well-funded fast growing startup working on world class disruptive platforms, is looking for a React Developer with hands-on experience in React, React Native and sound Analytical skills. We are seeking a person who is technically savvy, innovative, and a creative problem solver to be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including designing, developing, testing and documenting the application in order to deliver a high quality software application to the customer.

Essential

• 6+ years’ experience as a Business Intelligence developer using the Microsoft BI stack e.g. Power BI, SQL Server database, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
• At Least 4+ years of experience in Power BI expertise
• At Least 1+ years of experience in Microsoft NAV expertise
• Very strong SQL skills for querying and creation of views/tables, functions and stored procedures
• Experience in designing ETL processes including knowledge of data warehousing strategies and theories
• Build dashboards, reports and cubes using SQL, MDX, DAX, Power BI or other visualisation tools
• Develop new or maintain and improve existing ETL processes
• Articulate and document architectural solutions and processes
• Attend technical and business meetings and act as a subject matter expert
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders
• Understanding dimensional modelling ideally for Financial Services and Public Sector
• Knowledge of cloud computing, preferably on Azure

Desirable

• Some experience with the Azure stack and Microsoft PaaS offerings – Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse plus orchestration products like Azure Data Factory and Enterprise Service Bus
• Working knowledge of leading customer marketing software tools – eg. Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics.
