As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be joining FusionOperate Test Platform. It is a reusable and scalable platform that enable building, packaging and executing both Functional (FAT) and Non-Functional Acceptance Tests (NFAT) for cloud-based applications across all stages of the CI/CD pipeline.

As a SDET, you will design, develop and deploy innovative services into FusionOperate Test Platform to drive and ease Continuous Testing in a DevOps environment. Your daily work will consist in improving current test automation capabilities for FAT development, integration and execution in the AzureDevOps CI/CD pipeline. You will operate as part of a global scaled agile platform team working in two-week sprints applying your experience in Continuous Delivery & BDD.

Responsibilities

• Work with R& D organization to identify gaps in its continuous testing strategy and propose new innovative ideas/capabilities to be implemented as part of the platform
• Bootstrap continuous testing approach to support continuous delivery and zero-deployment downtime strategies
• Develop smoke and regression automated FAT suites used in continuous delivery process
• Drive adoption of BDD/TDD standards, best practices and tools inside engineering team
• Use, support and assist R& D teams using FusionOperate Test Platform through mentorship and tutorials

Deliverables

• Versioned and containerized API/UI smoke and regression FAT suites using BDD standards (Gherkin syntax, step definition. )
• Service virtualized assets for system testing when required
• Integration and execution of FAT suites in AzureDevOps CI/CD pipelines using FusionOperate Test Platform
• Documentation and knowledge transfer to engineering team

Experience & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Development
• Solid in depth-knowledge of Quality Assurance in a cloud-based environment
• Former experience implementing Continuous Testing for a SaaS or Managed Hosted application
• Automated Functional & Non-Functional Acceptance Testing: Unit/API/UI Testing,
• Performance/Security/Resiliency/System Testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing of microservices
• Experience with Mocking and Service Virtualization
• Designing, deploying and orchestrating microservices using Kubernetes
• Appropriate RHEL, Kubernetes & Cloud Certifications is a plus
• ISTQB certification is a plus
