This role will help shape the design, development, and support for our financial institution integration services.  The nature of these services requires a security-centric approach to design and development. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, etc.) from financial systems
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
• Design and implement tooling upgrade to increase stability and data quality
• Write SQL statements to support production implementations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
• 9+ years of experience in software development
• 4+ years of core Java SDK experience
• Deep experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and RESTfull web services
• Experience with web scraping or ETL
• Solid understanding of relational databases and writing SQL statements
• Bachelor’s/Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
• Great design and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting for performance, scalability, usability, security, and reliability
• Deep understanding of efficient data structures and algorithms. Can ramp on existing code without much documentation
• An entrepreneurial spirit with a can do attitude, a self-starter, project finisher, adaptable, and collaborative
• Good communicator, able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies understandably and engagingly

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Experience with Java Spring Boot
• Experience with a Linux environment
• Experience in financial systems, ERP, or transactional systems
