Software Development Engineer - NodeJS

Crowdstaffing , Anywhere · crowdstaffing.com · Full-time employment · Programming

Prosperix is a Silicon Valley based tech company with a mission to develop innovation that helps businesses build an extraordinary workforce. We are doing things others think are impossible. We seek to wow our clients and build solutions that add great value. As a software and services provider, the company is an innovation leader in the domain of workforce hiring and management.

We are in the process of moving to a new microservices architecture to form a foundational platform to continue delivering our current product offerings and develop new ones. Our existing tech stack is a diverse one with services written in mutiple technologies and design patterns that suits our purpose.

We are looking for an Engineer who can solve problems, who codes not for the deadlines but for the product which fuels the underlying business. Most of us in the core tech team are ex-entrepreneurs who now are using their experience and knowledge in one product/platform: Crowdstaffing.

What we expect from you:

  • You can code in NodeJS and write SQL queries with ease. Obviously!
  • "Which framework/library in NodeJS", "Typescript or Javascript" are irrelevant questions to you.
  • Concurrency, Architecture, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Threading, Benchmarking etc are not just buzzwords that you learned in college but also a core talking point in your proposed solutions.
  • You don't quantify yourself in "years of experience" metrics. You have delivered solutions that you are proud of and can talk about them in a clear and consice fashion.
  • You dont wait for the Frontend developer to change a property name or a label. You can take care of it on your own because small hurdles cannot stop you reaching your goals.
