MERN Stack Developer

Fone.AI is an AI product-based company working on voice automation and NLP. We are an IIT Madras incubated startup and NASSCOM 10K backed Startup. We are soon to raise our seed round of funding. We develop bot platforms in AI (Python, RASA, Tensorflow), Cloud(AWS services), and Web (MERN & Python). We had been recognized and mentored by the Computer Society of India, Verizon, Altimetrix, and other reputed corporate brands. We are nearing 50+ customers in the US.

The ideal candidate should be a 10X engineer, multi-tasker full-stack, and independent developer. You will be a lead full-stack developer responsible for the development of our SaaS platform Fone.AI. You should excel in working with MERN and Python and have outstanding communication and quick learning. Should relocate if necessary.

The candidate should be innovative cum independent and solve any problem statement thrown at him. Should explore newer technologies and be quick in learning new concepts and implementing them without hassle.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code in JavaScript
• Develop and support software including back-end (Node.js), database integration(MongoDB), interfaces(React.js+Redux), and new functionality enhancements
• Knowledge in NLP and AI and a good hold in Python and frameworks like Flask is an added advantage
• Coordinate technical demos and have the basic product knowledge
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience (MERN experience should be 3+ years)
• Expertise in Front-end Design, Material UI, Database Design, and frameworks like Express.js, MongoDB.
• Experience in chatbot development, RASA, AWS, and python is an added advantage.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Tamil knowledge and Chennai people preferred. Other cities can also apply.
• Ability to both work independently as well as lead a team.
