Front End Developer

At EmptyCup, we are building an interior design platform, to change the way homes are designed by enabling home buyers to truly define the place they will live in for rest of their life.

We are looking for talented front end developer having experience with building highly reliable and performant user interfaces. You will help build the mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms from the ground up.

What you'll be doing:

- Decide the technology stack for building the app, and own the complete development cycle.
- Work closely with designers and backend team to build the mobile app from scratch.
- Create pixel-perfect UIs that feel smooth and look consistent across both mobile platforms.
- Write clean code that's efficient and well-tested to ensure that the apps are delivered with the highest quality and reliability.

Skills:

- 2+ years of experience working as a front end developer.
- Proficiency in JavaScript(ES6+), React, HTML and CSS.
- Experience converting mockups and wireframes to rich and elegant user interfaces.
- Experience with building cross platform apps through: React Native/Phonegap/Android, iOS native build systems.
- Experience with using REST APIs for communication with the app backend services.
- Ability to "flow" through development process with out having to stop to learn on the job.

Nice to have:

- Experience with releasing apps on app store or play store.
- Exposure to consumer product development process.
- Familiarity with graphics programming (WebGL/OpenGL/game development) is a huge plus.
