Front-end Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop web products used by consumers and internal customers ensuring quality and performance.
  • Participate in API design
  • Backend integration
  • Participate in prioritizing product evolutions, taking into account the best value gains for the business.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience building modern, elegant web apps 
  • Excellent Javascript, CSS and HTML5 skills
  • Preferred: Knowledge in other front end frameworks such as React,Vue.js 
  • In-depth knowledge of browsers and their behaviour
  • Passionate about user experience
  • Experience with test frameworks (e.g. jest, Enzyme)
  • Experience developing back end service (preferably in Java)
  • Preferred: Knowledge in cloud technologies/infrastructure (Google Cloud/AWS)
  • Strong analytical, project leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work both self-directed and collaboratively to deliver results in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Consummate team player, able to wear multiple hats, and assist team members when needed
