Overview:

At Krayen, we are looking for a talented Shopify app developer with hands-on experience in shopify and React to build our Shopify apps. As a part of our core engineering team, you’ll be actively collaborating with the product team on brainstorming features, build applications and bring our ideas to life.

What will you do?

• Build and Launch Shopify applications.
• Identify technical requirements to overcome a problem and choose the appropriate libraries and frameworks.
• Work cross functionally with UX and Product Management teams to analyze and suggest solutions based on requirements.
• Come up with optimal solutions to business problems with a focus on cost and scalability.
• Build functional, reusable front-end components that can be used across our range of web applications.

What are we looking for?

• An overall understanding of the Shopify app development ecosystem and the concepts of embedded and standalone Shopify apps.
• Experience in working with using modern web frameworks, like React, Angular, etc. We use React but prefer people with strong web concepts and fundamentals open to learning any framework/library.
• Experience working with a State management library such as Redux.
• Experience building Frontend Applications using web services/RESTful API’s
• Ability to build features from scratch which are modular and scalable. Volunteer to drive these initiatives from design to implementation.
• Working knowledge of Linux and/or Unix.
• Self-driven individuals who care about turning in quality work, and improving their craft.
• People with high integrity, and reliability.

Nice to have:

• Prior experience of working in a product based B2B startup.
• Experience in creating ReST / GraphQL API’s using Node/Python
• Experience working with Javascript Data visualization libraries (Vega / Nivo Rocks / Visx).
