Responsibilities

Developing products that account for the end to end solution of a function that is in line with the business objectives

Working closely with analysts and tech leads to elaborate requirements

Proactive collaboration in the project team to help develop the product through the whole development lifecycle

Ensuring governance requirements are captured, and audit requirements are met. Demonstrating adherence to controls

Refactoring and continuous improvements of the code and processes is vital

Ensuring that risks are identified and mitigated or acknowledged as part of the agile development lifecycle

Contributing to the ongoing support of the digital apps and ecosystem

Keen to collaborate with others, and you’ll give thought about how software fits into the bigger picture

Qualifications

2-4 years experience in below fields,

Possess strong technical knowledge in Network Security technologies (covering from endpoints, network, Web server, application server, database server, load balancer, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Detection/Prevention System and authentication services)

Experience in API and service based architectures using SOAP, REST APIs, micro-services and utilising JSON for web or mobile applications

Front End Technologies, Angular or REACT JS.

Strong knowledge of backend and ability to architect scalable solutions

B/E Languages: Python, Django, JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js Python, Node js Ruby on Rails) Bootstrap, CSS, Ajax, PHP

F/E Languages and Libraries e.g. Angular or REACT JS, HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML

Databases: MySQL, Postgresql, MongoDB, GRAPH QL & Complex data modeling

Networks :

TCP IP, & Protocols

Operating Systems, Databases – Windows, Ubuntu, Mac OS.

Cloud Platform: AWS, Azure & Google Cloud

CI/CD tools - Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, GIT, GitHub, SonarQube, Checkmarks

PaaS/IaaS – Open Shift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure & Cloud bees

DevOps processes and experience

Agile methodologies – Scrum, Kanban, XP

Good to Have

Awareness of cross-browser/device “responsive” development

Knowledge of implementation considerations for UI & UX technologies including jQuery, WebSphere, React.js.

Exposure to Containers (Dockers / Kubernetes)

Understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery and the principles and practices of BDD, ATDD and TDD
